After another years hard work, the day has finally come: the UdK Schau 10 will take place at the WMF this friday! Two of my works from the projects Extase/Askese and Green Carpet will be on display, the first runway show i experience from this particular angle..

I’m curious for the outcome- will post furtheron with some pictures next week! The place will be completely jammed! THE VVK lasted less than 6 hours before everything was completely sold out..

This installation by Garvin Nolte deals with the influence of others onto one’s own path of life in an abstract way. I think its a bit too long, but definately suggestive..

Italian Artist and Painter Maurizio Bongiovanni has a crush on birds. It used to be symmetries and laser-rays and things that looked like parts from neglected space ships or scenes straight from your 1990 SEGA-station, but now its birds. And birds only.

The former Milan-Resident now lives and works in Madrid. Love his colour scheme from monochromatic brown-shades to the polycoloured paint-by-numbers palette just as well as the overall manually enhanced photoshop-appeal. All oil on canvas.

…summer breaks- finally!!! Can’t wait for all the legs and arms and necks and bellys and backs, hidden so fiercely behind coats and pants and boots and scarves for the last felt decade to reappear on the streets!

Just ordered the 3 Volumes of Alexej Pluzer-Sarnos Encyclopedia of Russian criminal Tattoos. I love how distinguished and explicit these images are, eventhough made with self-built amateur-machines, ususally unicolor, black on skin..

Also the book elucidates all the rang and status, story and symbolism behind the images- Tattoo art as an evidence of prison-social coherences, a mental map of ineffably torn biographies…
